This course will equip you with some of the skills necessary for business writing. Learn how to engage a wide audience in a clear and precise manner. Topics include: sentence and paragraph construction, spelling and grammar tips, plain English writing style, writing simply and clearly, letter and email writing, writing media releases, page layout and design, how to write a job or funding application and making your writing readable.
Students need to attend 75% of the course to be eligible to receive a Certificate of Achievement on the final day.

Kerry started her career as a Nurse and had 17 years of Nursing experience before transitioning into teaching first aid with St John Ambulance where she became a training area manager. For the past 11 years she has been teaching the Certificate IV in Training and assessment and the Certificate IV and Diploma of Work Health and Safety.
Kerry holds the TAE40110 Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She also holds the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE50111) The diploma of WHS (BSB51312) and Advance Diploma of WHS (BSB60615) and is currently completing her bachelor’s degree of Adult and Vocational Education.
