HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
First Aid, Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid CPR reaccreditation – Learn the theory and practical skills to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Includes practise on resuscitation manikins to build skills and confidence. No pre course reading is required for this course.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Successful participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of Competency: HLTAID009 Perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

Paul’s industry experience, which includes developing and facilitating state wide nationally recognised training to working with clients to create emergency management plans, ensures he provides his students with the most relevant and up to date training.
Peter Hamilton
Peter has been training for over 20 years within a number of Medical Emergency courses. Prior to his extensive training experience, he worked as an Ambulance Officer in which he was able to gain valuable knowledge which led him on his path to become an IPS Ambulance Training Manager.
Peter brings a vast knowledge of the ins and outs of medical emergencies, preparing for emergency situations and much more.
