The Nationally Recognised unit BDBLDR522 Manage people performance is part of the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management. This stand alone unit is ideal for professional development for individuals and private groups.
During this unit, you will learn how to develop work plans and allocate work according to organisational requirements and operational plans as well as monitor and evaluate performance according to performance standards and key performance indicators. You will gain valuable knowledge in conducting formal structured feedback sessions as necessary and according to organisational policy along with monitoring underperforming individuals according to organisational policies

Having undertaken key responsibilities in a range of organisations for over 25 years is now well placed to mentor, coach, train and advise others on their careers.
Over many years has invested heavily to develop an effective approach to communication and relationship management, which has also been a key influence in the ability to successfully develop and lead high performing teams.
Simon has a passion for working with people and business challenges and is at his best when being creative and working with others to achieve greatness.
He tells us his career to date has been extremely fulfilling and has been fortunate enough to gain great insight into the
Corporate sector whilst performing a number of management roles critical to the business. Simon spent 26 years in
the Telecommunications sector where his positions included management roles in sales, operations, process
engineering, investment management and business planning.
Students will require a sound understanding of how to navigate computers along with software (Word, PowerPoint), opening and closing documents, saving documents, formatting documents, typing and using the internet for searching and emails. Students who are not confident using computers are welcome to enrol in one of the short computer courses provided by MSA Training and Professional Development.
Students are required to fill out a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment during the enrolment process. For those with difficulty filling out the LLN form MSA Training and Professional Development offers a beginners’ ESL and individual ESL classes. During enrolment students will also undergo a pre-training review which will help make sure this course is right for you and identify any additional support you may need.
Students who are unable to attend all sessions of their chosen timetable may need to make-up those sessions in other timetables to be able to successfully complete their qualification.
Group-work is required for this qualification and students will be assessed on their level of participation.
Students are required to attend a minimum of 85% of their classes. If you are unable to meet the minimum attendance, you may be required to take make-up sessions in a different timetable.
Assessments are to be submitted to your trainer within 4 weeks of the unit/cluster.
Please ensure you have a laptop with Microsoft Word, or equivalent, for campus-based classes.
A computer with Microsoft Word, or equivalent, sufficient internet connection, camera and mic for zoom classes, before enrolling into this qualification.
